Tuesday’s Tidbits…

The husband picked up gourmet cupcakes, and we sang and there were a couple of presents. Baby J has seen enough birthdays that he knew to blow, and he knew when to do it.
It was adorbs.

I crack up at the things I come across in our house… I especially love it when I come across something so obviously “kid.” It makes me feel like such a mom.

Doesn’t every mom have a sofa that doubles as a parking lot? There are some days that I am not even allowed to sit on the sofa, because that would ruin everything, because some days the sofa is only for cars, and not for people. I love it.

I have a new baby niece, and the cuteness is almost more than I can stand.

The new baby, and the excitement of having a new cousin prompted “the talk” this past week.
I’m pretty sure we are going to have to have a re-do at “the talk,” because I was ill-prepared…but I’m ready now, ha!

Little M’s speech has grown by leaps and bounds, and she rarely mispronounces words, but there are a few things she says that we can’t bear to correct, because of all of the cuteness.
We use vaseline on her dry skin, and sometimes her lips at night, and I love that every night she asks for some “vappeline on my chaplips.” I don’t know which I love more, vappeline, or chaplips.

The other day she came up behind me and said “let me give you a little sausage,” while she rubbed my neck. I didn’t tell her it was actually a massage, because, cute!
