A Party…finally!
Little man turned three years old at the end of August.
But we wanted him to have his cast off, and be able to move around, and just have some fun, so we put his party off for a few weeks…
We (the husband) chose a pirate theme…
And I ran with it.
We had a couple close friends over, and kept it small so as not to overwhelm baby J, who tends to get over-stimulated VERY quickly.
It turned out perfect. Baby J was so calm around these people that he knows well, that he fell asleep in my lap!
He was excited to open presents…
And VERY excited about cake. I don’t think he knew what to think at first, but when everyone started singing, he smiled a bit, and even though we didn’t practice, he figured out how to blow out the candle right away…
