We have been crafting up a storm here getting ready for Chinese New Year…

Since it is the year of the snake, first we decorated some toilet paper rolls…
Cut the ends into points, and attached each point with a pipe cleaner.
Little M is so proud…she especially likes to show us how her snake has eyelashes. Oh yes, it does.
Then she colored some dragon coloring sheets I had printed off…
And we cut it out, and glued it on a paper plate. We glued two plates together with string in between them, and a popsicle stick…
Put some beads on the string, and viola! Chinese drum!
Love that little proud face…
