November…

November is national adoption awareness month! I could go on and on about how special adoption is…you know how I love to go on and on.
But, who doesn’t love to watch a good you tube video and maybe cry a little bit, so I have these videos to share instead!

You’ve all seen this one, I’m sure, but it’s a good reminder of how some wonderful people, many who have impacted the lives of so many others, were adopted.

There are so many kids in foster care…great kids, just waiting for great parents to love them.

Adopting a child with special needs can seem a little daunting. Believe me, I know. But these are just little kids who need a home, and deserve parents and a family, just like any other kid.
My favorite line in this video is “he has no needs that are special because he is missing part of his arm. He’s just special because he is Wie Wen.”

Anyone would be so blessed to parent one of these children…I have one, and I have been blessed beyond belief by my special girl!

 Because being a mother is not in the blood…it’s in the heart; would you consider opening your heart to one of these special kids?
