Seven years ago in a civil affairs office in China

Seven years ago in a civil affairs office in China, we met the tiniest baby boy in the biggest parka.
We fell in love with him the moment we saw his picture, and seven years ago today he became our son.

To know Finn is to love him. He is sweetness and light, he brings so much joy and love and laughter to our family. How lucky we are to be his. ♥️♥️♥️

This boy was so happy to take his ants to school this week, proudly carrying them like precious cargo. He couldn’t wait to share them with his class.

And the best part? His teacher said yes, even though she doesn’t like ants at all. She saw how much it meant to him and made space for his joy. Grateful for kids who love learning and teachers who lead with kindness 🐜💛
