A blood transfusion doesn’t fix everything that’s

A blood transfusion doesn’t fix everything that’s going on in Paisley’s body. We wish it did. But the two units of blood she received a couple weeks ago have given her a little boost…a bit more energy, a bit more strength, and a little color back in her cheeks.

For now, that’s enough.

Watching her smile today reminds us how much these small improvements matter. We know the relief is temporary, but we’re thankful for the days when she feels a little more like herself.

So today we celebrate pink cheeks, brighter eyes, and a little more pep in our girl.

Grateful for the gift of borrowed strength.
