We stood where we never wanted to stand. We wrapped our arms around each other and said goodbye to the man who spent his life loving us well. The ache is immeasurable, but so is our gratitude. We will carry his love with us for the rest of our lives.

Our sweet girl is not well. I don’t share a lot t

Our sweet girl is not well.

I don’t share a lot these days because honestly, most of Paisley’s days are filled with pain, discomfort, exhaustion, and sleep. And when she does have moments where she feels okay, we spend them doing whatever she wants, soaking up every bit of normal we can find.

Sometimes the worry and grief swallow the words before they ever make it here... She was not expected to need another heart cath until next year, but after some concerning labs, she’ll now be having an unexpected cath this week. We are sad, worried, and trying hard to stay steady for her while she feels overwhelmed and anxious herself.

We are hoping for answers, for something treatable, for relief, and for better days ahead for our precious Paisley.
