Big Girl…
We are now parents of a child who sleeps in a big girl bed. A BIG big girl bed.
I really have no idea how I feel about this, but the bedding is super cute.
And I like that the bed is big enough that if little M is having a hard night, we can lay in it with her. There have been many nights that I was tempted to hoist myself into her little crib with her, and comfort her without having to get her up and out of bed (and we all know I probably would never have gotten out again).
Little M? Is beyond thrilled. So thrilled. I was worried it would be a rough transition, but, aside from getting used to sleeping in a new bed, I think she will be just fine.
I just love how excited she was about it. And yes, I am aware that the bedding she chose makes her room look like a thirteen year olds. And no, I am not ready to discuss that. Pretty soon she will be going off to college…

Love it! Let us know how she does! Janie is still in her crib b/c she has made no attempt to climb out yet. But I know the day is coming soon….so I always love to hear advice from others on how thier kiddos adjust to the big bed.

I have actually checked the weight limit on the crib before…I have wanted to crawl in there with her so bad….but never did for fear of breaking it….but you make a good point…getting out would be tougher than getting in. Super cute bedding for a super cute girl!
