Crafting Monday…

Every Monday afternoon, the kids do a craft after school…sometimes it’s a kit that they put together, or something I plan out, but their very favorite crafts are when I lay out “creating invitations.”
I usually tell them to make something with a theme, and then I sit back and watch them. I observe what they come up with without any questions or “fixing” what they are doing.

They LOVE this, and I think we will make this a new weekly thing!

Last Monday, I told them to make something Thanksgiving themed…and I laid out all the parts for turkeys…

Baby J always panics a little, because he is worried about messing it up, or not doing it right, but once he relaxes, he always has fun.

Tiny P always jumps right in. Her self confidence is strong, and she sometimes follows little M’s lead a bit, but she never copies her.

Little M always knows exactly what she wants to do…she has all of the self confidence, and she loves her some crafting.

I always love seeing what they come up with, and how they talk through it…

Thanksgiving turkeys!

I always do crafts with the grandkids, nieces and nephew, we call it making memories. You will be so glad that you did all these wonderful things with them. Blessings
