When we first got little M she did not walk for long, and when she did walk, her gait was that of a toddler who had only recently learned how to walk. She fell down. A lot.

And running? Did not happen. Ever.

There was just no running. There was not even fast walking.

But now… we have a little runner. Little M is not fast. Some kids can walk faster than she can run.

But for someone who has not been running long at all…for little M, even at her slow pace, she is thrilled to feel the breeze in her hair. And since it is the fastest she has ever moved, she must feel like she is moving at an incredible pace.

She wants to go “fack” (yes, she still can’t say fast) all the time, and, when she is not going “fack,” she wants to talk about all the times she has gone fack, or people that she has seen going fack.

She is obsessed. We have a runner on our hands
And I love it.
