Freedom!
We are finally home! I cannot describe how good it feels to have my girl home with me where she belongs!
Thank you for all your prayers and well-wishes. They were felt and appreciated!
This girl was so happy to come back to our house, I thought she would rip a stitch. She was an emotional basket case in the morning, while we were packing up to leave, and I know she thought we were leaving her there. The hospital looks very much like the orphanage, and we have seen some regression, and a lot of behaviors that remind us of when we were in China.
She was happy to leave with us, but was pensive all the way home. I wonder if she thought we were driving to give her away to someone else? The last time she was in an orphanage, and went for a car ride, she was given to us. She was so thrilled when we got to our house, that she laughed and screamed and clapped for a good fifteen minutes. Her relief was palpable.
I am already dreading taking her back next week for her followup…

I am so happy you all are home and that M is recovering well. That made me choked up a little to think that she was so pensive and worried about what was going on. Precious little sweetie!
