Jingle Bells…
I am preparing to Christmas-ize (is that a word? I hope I just invented it!) my house. We have a rule in our house. And by we, I mean the Husband. The rule states that there shall be no Christmas decorating on the main level of our house (the level most people see) before Thanksgiving. And while this rule makes me a tiny sad, I do love that man, and so I abide by this rule. And I satisfy my Christmas craving by decorating ALL of the other levels in our abode as soon as November hits. Ha.
I am always on the lookout for new, fun art, and when I saw others doing jingle bell art I totally jumped on the bandwagon.
This is so easy to do…I found a shadowbox I liked, some red cardstock, jingle bells, and some letters.
I cut down my cardstock and fit it in the back of the frame..
Added my jingle bells, and closed it up. Then I added my letters. And then I disliked my work, and took all my letters off. Do you see them? They are in the lower left corner. With better planning, this is a five minute project…trust me.
Then I redid my letters, and I liked it. Jingle all the way!
so creative! i love it!
You decorate as soon as November hits, huh?
Brilliant idea.
