Left Behind…
November is National Adoption month, and there is one more week left in the month. There are more than 143 million orphans in the world today, and that doesn’t even take into account the children in foster care whose parents are living, but who still need safe and loving families. While we are gearing up for Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I want to remember those that still need a family.
There were so many little faces, and I can’t forget them.
So many left behind. What were they thinking when yet another one leaves with their new family, and they are still there…still waiting…still wondering. We spent just a couple short hours in a chinese orphanage, but those hours will remain in my memory forever. I will never forget the eyes I saw.

Orphans, the fatherless, the least of these.
oh, this post just breaks my heart…thank you for sharing.
I'm so sad for these children especially when they are so many families waiting to get their referrals. Our LID is May 24, 2007, yet we are no closer to bringing home one of those precious children. Breaks my heart!
Oh, I know. It's the ones still waiting that keep me up at night…
