My Girl
It was so nice outside today, and little M looked so cute, so we headed outside for some pictures. Little M has many faces, most of which are happy. The happy faces we see a lot of, especially the charming, fake smiles. Every day we see more of her real smile, though, and every true smile, every real giggle, warms my heart.
We are seeing more of a serious side of her, as well, and I wonder what she is thinking. I am looking forward to her being able to talk to me, telling me when she is sad or if something hurts. Sometimes she has such a faraway look in her eyes, and I wonder who, or what, she is missing. When I see that look I put down everything I am doing, and take time to hold her, sing in her ear, carry her around with me, and love on her.
She is strong and independent. She is sassy, beautiful, and smart, and I can’t wait to see her blossom and unfold.
She tries so hard to please me and make me happy. Whatever I do, she tries to help with, always looking to me for approval after every thing she does.
This is what I get when I ask her to show me sad…
And happy (yes, that is how she shows me a “happy” smile)…
And this? well, obviously, this is excited…
She is beautiful!Thank you for sharing your little beauty with us.
