Runner.
Do you know that when we first met little M, she could not run? To see her now you would never know, but she couldn’t even walk fast. In fact she walked like a baby that just learned to walk. She tired easily, and it took almost six months before she could climb a flight of stairs, and even then her little legs started shaking by the third step…
Our little M now is nothing like the little M we brought home almost twenty months ago. Our little M now goes up and down the stairs in our house all day, and her little legs are strong and not shaky any more.
And she runs.
She runs all day long. She runs all over the house, and when we are out, she is off like a shot.
Not only is our little M a runner…she has always liked to “run,” but now…now she is fast. She can run like the wind.
I feel like this happened overnight. One day our girl ran slow, and I could keep up with her while I was walking. The next day she was like a little rocket.
I was unprepared for this. I have to run to keep up with her now. She is really that fast.
I’m going to have to step up my game a little bit!
