Safari Park…

After the day we had yesterday, we needed to have some fun today… baby J woke up happy, and ate his body weight’s worth of food for breakfast. That boy can seriously eat.

Then we headed off with five other families to go to the Safari Park. It’s like a huge zoo, but there is a train to drive you around to see all the safari animals, and there is a walking portion that is more like a zoo. I don’t think that they worry about people suing them here, because you can get much closer to the animals than you can in the US…

Little M started off very happy, and loved the train…

Then there was a portion kind of like Jurassic Park, with life sized dinosaurs, and she got worried.

The husband has wanted to go here, and feed a baby tiger for years, and he was thrilled to get to do that!

The kids loved watching the tiger, and little M couldn’t wait for her turn.

She was. Beyond. Thrilled.

I was surprised how soft his fur was…it was very sweet.

Little M’s favorite part of the day, though, was getting to feed the giraffes…

I thought she would be scared once it came down to it, but she LOVED it…

She kept telling me that giraffes are very gentle, and we don’t have to be worried.

Baby J wasn’t too sure what to think about all the bigger animals, but we hung back and enjoyed watching little M…

Fun day with our family of four!
