Little M has her Spring break this week. After her hard week last week, it has been kind of a relief to not have to worry about her behavior at school, because there is no school. We have had a good week together so far, I have so much fun with this little girl!
We have had play dates, done some shopping, watched movies, and done a bajillion craft projects.
We have played at the park, drawn with sidewalk chalk, painted nails, and read books.
Tomorrow our weekend starts, and then it is back to school, and hopefully, back to behaving.
I am going to miss her!
Joanna-This post reminded me of something…When the end of the yr starts to roll in. All of my kids, but esp my oldest, was sensitive to change approaching, the air outside becoming more inviting, and the talk of moving on to other teachers and classrooms, as well as the change in routine from being at school to summer. My eldest is the most sensitive to this, and the behavior at school and home was a signal to his ability (or at times lack of) to sort out what he was feeling inside. This is not to say it is what is up with Miss M but something to think on. It took me several yrs of teachers mentioning a change and me seeing a change at home to \”get this\”. Oldest is first yr in college now and I still see this when he goes on a break and then gets ready to go back to school, but he can take a joke about it or realize he is dealing with changes. Not that he still doesn't do a tad of testing or testiness in behavior but it helps to realize it will pass just as quickly as it arrived and that sometimes humor helps too. You are such a great Mum:)Michelle
