Thankful…
my brother and sister-in-law and their two precious little kids.
I just love this family. I love my brother and sister-in-law more than anything in the world, and their kids are so very precious to me.
On Friday night this family was in a severe car accident. Their eight year old daughter was life flighted to a children’s hospital four hours away, while my brother and his three year old son were hospitalized in the town close to where the accident happened. They were on their way home from vacation, still far from home, when their car was t-boned, flipped over several times, and slid into a ravine. Everyone has injuries, and miraculously, are doing ok today, but my niece has a long recovery ahead of her. She has multiple fractures in her pelvis, tailbone, collarbone, and shoulder. My brother and nephew have been released, and the family is all back together with their daughter, who is still in the hospital for a while. Will you pray for a speedy recovery for her? I know she would love to go home soon.
Today…I am just thankful for my family.

Oh, Joanna, I am so sorry. What terrible news. Thinking of you and your family, and certainly wishing for a speedy recovery for your niece. I hope they all heal quickly from the trauma of the accident and are home again soon.
