Then And Now…
The husband took this picture the week we got home with little M. You can see how short her hair was, and how much chubbier her cheeks were, and how slightly blue her lips were that day.
You can see the hesitancy in her smile, and I remember that she was mostly just smiling because I handed her two of her beloved matchbox cars.
I remember that during that whole first month home, she either sat or I carried her. She didn’t have energy for anything else.
But now, nine months later, she is a completely different little girl. She runs everywhere. Everywhere. She sits, but never sits still. She is always talking, always thinking, and always active.
She has pink lips and pink fingernails. She loves her tutus, and her babies. And she still has a special place in her heart for matchbox cars.
Praise GOD for cardiologists. Enjoy your busy busy little girl. Josie doesn't know the meaning of sitting still since her heart surgery. It's a blessing…isn't it!!
She looks like joy just bubbles up from inside her :). What a blessing!!!!
I stopped over from Kelly's Korner. We also do lots of hearing and speech! Your daughter is ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS! She looks like she is so full of happiness, life, and energy!
