Today, Last Year…

One year ago this little girl’s picture was taken by a nanny in an orphanage in China.

One year ago today, we found out we were going to be parents to that little girl.

And now a year has passed…a wild and crazy year full of surprises and hard things, and also full of wonder and the excitement of being new parents.

It has been a hard year… and an amazing year.

It has been a year full of tough times and times we will cherish forever.

It has been a year of sadness and frustration and a year of overwhelming joy.

We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

We are thrilled to have our little M home with us.

She has brought us so much joy and happiness, and it has been our pleasure to watch this little person’s beautiful personality unfold and blossom.
