Tuesday’s Thoughts…

So, this blog has not been getting the attention it is used to… we have been crazy busy, and are about to get even busier, because we are working on a new, giant project over here… we just bought a new house! We are keeping our townhouse, and renting it out, so we have been working hard to get everything done!

Tiny P’s oxygen saturations have been low this week, and she has been very short of breath even when sitting still. It makes me want to take some deep breaths for her… I will be glad to go to her heart clinic appointment on the eighth, and hopefully get some answers, and a plan!

I don’t even remember the last time little M was sick. She is so conscious of germs, and focused on keeping them away from her, that she has been well for a long time. But she has been sick since her birthday party, and she is struggling. I am glad that she will be having her heart clinic on the same day as tiny P! Hopefully we will get some answers on what is going on in our big girl’s heart, as well.

The week before last, we had snow days, using up more than our county allotted snow days… I may have lost my mind a little bit, because on our last snow day, I told one of my children that the rule for the rest of the day was that they could not sit on my furniture. I won’t name names, but this chid was not one of my girls… I actually said ” you have lost the privilege of sitting on my furniture, and now you must sit on the floor the rest of the day.”
Natural consequences…

Tiny P is picking up so much language, it is amazing to hear her, and it seems like she has been with us much longer than six months because of how much she talks… AND it makes her seem even sassier, if that’s possible, to hear her thoughts out loud. I love that she follows little M around and constantly asks “what are you doing?” over, and over, and over… little M is deserving of this, because that is what she used to do to me. Ha!

Our little M, now that she is older, is aloud to stay up later. Baby J hates this with the fire of a thousand suns, and tries to think up any excuse to stay up later. It doesn’t work.
We will see how it goes… little M loves it, and thinks she is pretty awesome. Because of her heart, little M actually could use more rest, and she is pretty tired by the time bed rolls around. A few nights she has crawled into bed earlier to “read.” Then she goes to sleep, and the husband and I talk about how adorable and sweet she is…

Some days I look at these three, and I cannot believe I have three kids…three! I sure do love these babies!

I love it! I have a certain child who likes to rock on his chair at dinner and (besides the fact he has hit his head before and also dented the wall) it simply makes me crazy. He stands through a lot of dinners.
